How might we design learning experiences that spark curiosity and support engagement for students with disabilities?
This summer, I served as a UX & Game Design Intern at Ai-Learners, an EdTech startup dedicated to teaching mathematics and English for children with visual, cognitive, and physical disabilities. Here, I worked on gamifying math and literacy concepts to increase user retention and engagement—my designs culminated in 200 math and literacy games, a feedback loop MVP, as well as 300+ wireframes and prototypes across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. On the enterprise end, I piloted the design of monetization features, increasing paid usage to 25+ schools and special education programs nationwide.
My work is currently under an NDA. Feel free to contact me at el728@cornell.edu for more details!
